About Us

Chipping Barnet Conservative Association is run by a team of volunteers and has over 800 members. Our aim is to promote the Conservative cause and ensure the election of Conservative candidates both locally and nationally. To enable us to campaign, we also run an extensive programme of social and fundraising events including political dinners, discussion groups, quiz nights and garden parties.

Theresa Villiers is Member of  Parliament for Chipping Barnet. She was first elected to Parliament in 2005 and doubled her majority at the 2010 General Election. She is Minister of State for Transport.

Within the Chipping Barnet Parliamentary Constituency, there are seven council wards; Brunswick Park, Coppetts, East Barnet, High Barnet, Oakleigh, Totteridge and Underhill. Each ward has three representatives on Barnet Borough Council. In Chipping Barnet, all but three positions are held by the Conservatives.

We are always looking for new members with enthusiasm and ideas to help improve the local community and take the Association forward into the future. If you would like to get involved, we would be delighted to hear from you.
