Barnet Appoints 47th Mayor Designate

Brunswick Park Councillor, Lisa Rutter, was on Tuesday 1st March elected the 47th Mayor Designate of Barnet following a full Council meeting at Hendon Town Hall.East Barnet Ward Councillor, Barry Evangeli, will be Deputy Mayor.

Trott Road Allotments Restored

The old allotment site on Trott Road (backing onto George Crescent) has been disused and lain waste for decades.

North London Waste Plan Public Exhibitions

Next week, there will be three public exhibitions, giving residents the opportunity to examine plans for a Waste Disposal site on Pinkham Way in Coppetts Ward and to talk to people from the North London Waste Authority.

Car Park All Lit Up

The free car park in Osidge Lane is now fully used by residents, shoppers, recyclers, and local shopkeepers following the installation of lighting. 

Junction Improvements

 Work on improvements to the junctions of Russell Lane and Church Hill Road and Osidge Lane and Brunswick Park Road expected to start in the middle of March.

New Osidge Health Clinic by the Summer

Following the funding withdrawal for the rebuild of the dilapidated by fire Health Clinic in Brunswick Park, your local Conservative Councillors have continued to put pressure on NHS Barnet and have now agreed with the GPs, that the existing building is beyond economic repair and that it will be replaced by a new, temporary but substantial building by the summer.
