Over 80 guests attended the Xmas Gala Dinner organised by CBCA at the South Herts Golf Club. Above the new Leader of Barnet Council Cllr Lynne Hillan and Cllr Joanna Tambourides with Rev. Spyridon from St. Michael's Church in Golders Green & other guests.

£292 was raised at the Auction organised by Churchill Branch and hosted by Donald and Mary Goodman. Well done. Cllr Rutter, her husband Mark and Irene Smith are some of the people who attended the function.

Osidge Branch once again had a very well attended Xmas function. The Chairman of the Branch Andreas Tambourides would like to thank colleagues, friends and associates for their enthusiastic support and for making CBCA richer by £657.

Old Fold Branch had a very successful three course Jacket Potato Lunch and made a profit of £242.56. Well done Irene and team.

The Pre Xmas lunch organised by Old Fold Branch and Irene Ellaway, was enjoyed by all and made a profit of £174.86.

The President D. Clarke and Chairman of CBCA Cllr R. Cornelius and the Dep. Leader of Barnet Council Cllr L. Hillan were amongst the guests of the Political Dinner with Gareth Bacon AM which was organised by E. Barnet Village Branch. £256 was raised.

The weather was nice, the food exellent, and Maurice Collins's presentation of Victorian gadgets and gismos at Cllr Rajput's home very illuminating. The event organised by Lyonsdown Branch was attended by Shadow Secretary for Transport Theresa Villiers

65 people attended the annual cricket match organised by Coppetts Ward on Bank Holiday Monday raising £575 in the process. The Chipping Barnet Bashers beat Mukesh's Marvels by 5 wickets

A handsome profit of £409.51 was made at the garden Party organised by Old Fold Branch at the house of the President of CBCA David Clarke.

Despite the rather dull weather 52 people attended the Coppetts Ward's Fizzle Sizzle at Cllrs. Kate and Brian Salinger's house. As the picture shows a great time was had by all and the sum of £780 was raised.

The weather was nice, the atmosphere fantastic and the kebabs delicious. The Annual Summer BBQ of Osidge Branch organised at Cllr Hillan's home was attended by Marina Yannakoudakis MEP & friends & supporters of the Branch producing a net profit of £707.

Theresa Villiers MP, the Chairman and President of CBCA, Councillors and many other guests had an enjoyable and profitable afternoon at the Garden Party organised by Old Fold Branch at the house of Sue Wegener.The sum of £346.42 was raised at the event.
